Threeway Showdown
Threeway Showdown was a country-themed party organized by the Biomedical, Environmental and Integrated Engineering student associations. Held in the Engineering Student Centre, the event featured a DJ, line dancing, themed decorations and two signature drinks: Dirty Shirley Temples and green tea shots. It became the busiest party of the year, selling 166 tickets and welcoming approximately 180 attendees.
My Role
As a BMEUSA Co-Social Coordinator, I managed event permits, decorations and the signature drink program. I also designed the menus, developed the social media posting schedule, wrote every campaign caption, edited all video content and led most of the event's creative direction.
Planning & Collaboration
Threeway Showdown was planned as a zero-profit event, so purchasing decisions depended on accurately forecasting demand while keeping the experience accessible. Coordinating across three student associations strengthened my approach to collaborative planning, shared decision-making and balancing creative ideas with permitting, budget and operational requirements.
Campaign Results
The six-post campaign generated 45,766 views and 923 impressions. Strong social engagement helped sell 166 tickets and bring approximately 180 people to the Engineering Student Centre, making Threeway Showdown the busiest party of the year.
